Danish Society for Clinical Chemistry, arranges a prize competition to
reward contemporary Nordic research work related to the field of
clinical chemistry. The competition takes place every second year in
connection with the Nordic Congress in Clinical Chemistry.
Researchers or research groups in Scandinavia are requested to submit
anonymously an abstract of a recent scientific work with a maximum
length of 1,000 words (incl. references) and not more than two
illustrations. The work must not have been published before in its
present form. Abstracts and a letter stating the name of the author(s),

Approximately on February 1, 2004 a Nordic prize committee will select
up to three of the submitted contributions, to be presented by the
authors at the XXIX Nordic Congress in Clinical Chemistry, Malmö,
April 24-27, 2004.The speakers will be reimbursed for all expenses
related to congress participation, travelling (within Scandinavia), and
accommodation. Research groups are, therefore, kindly requested to
name one representative of the group to present the group's work. The
individual presentation should not exceed twenty minutes and will be
followed by a free discussion.
It is the plan to publish the works as a supplement toThe Scandinavian
Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation.
Based on the scientific value of the paper, and the quality of its oral
presentation, the prize committee will award a first prize of DKK
60,000.00, a second prize of DKK 30,000.00, and a third prize of DKK
