Beckman
is committed to meeting the international
standardization and regulation. To assist eostomers
in the best way with the protein standardization ,
Beckman
will act in two phases.
Phase 1:
In the beginning of
1994 , Beckman
will distribute
conversion factors to all users. When using these
factors, resnits will be standardized to the BCR
reference material (CRM 470
CAPIIFCC
Iot 91/06 19).
During the same time period , control inserts will be
modified to include two blocks of information ,
current and IFCC valnes. This applies to the
following contro

Control

Control 2, CRP
Control,
Vigil
PRx and
Vigil
Plus.
Phase 2:
Beginning in late
1994 ,
IFCC cards will be included
in the reagent and calibrator kits.
The reference valnes published by NFKK can be osed
after the conversion.
