Konklusion
Kendskab til kliniske biokemiske parametres døgn-
rytmer i den kliniske hverdag bidrager med en mere
præcis fortolkning af kliniske biokemiske analyse-
svar. Behovet for kendskab til døgnrytmesvingninger
er blevet aktualiseret af 24/7 samfundet med længere
ambulante åbningstider og et ønske om hurtigere
diagnostisk afklaring af patienterne på alle tider af
døgnet.
Dertil er der et behov for yderligere forskning
på området med henblik på at etablere individuelle
døgnprofiler og tidsspecifikke referenceintervaller.
Derudover kan det overvejes at give anbefalinger
om optimale prøvetagningstidspunkter for en række
parametre.
