Nordie Group for Measurements ofBlood Gases and Electrolytes
in particular with regard tometrological aspects
In order to address the calibration and control of BGE measurements a group "Nordic Group for
Measurements ofBloodGases andElectrolytes" - NORDBEL- was formed in 1995 under the auspices
of the Clinical Chemical Societies in Norden Participams of the group represent physiology and
chemistry.NORDBELhasmeton several occasions,performedexperimentalworkandnow summarized
its results. Thesewill bepresenred at ameetingwith aview to establish agreed proeectures for calibration
and control ofmeasurements of these properties.
The meeting will be arrangedat Sky City/Arlanda/Stockholm 1996-10-26. A social evening will be

be a closedmeeting with a limited participation. This invitation has been distributed to key persons in
Clinical Physiology, Clinical Chemistry and Anaesthesiology in Denmark, Finland, Norway and
