Important update:
The 37th Nordic Congress in Medical Biochemistry
Dear friends and colleagues!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nordic Con-
gress in Medical Biochemistry June 9-12 in Trond-
heim will not be held as planned. The Norwegian
government has recently extended restrictions to
the 15th of June 2020, which in effect means that the
congress is prohibited. We are currently working on
postponing the congress or making it a virtual event,
but as of April 20th, nothing is finally decided. Please

We deeply regret the current situation, but the
safety and wellbeing of you - the delegates, speakers
and exhibitors - is our highest priority. Although the
circumstances changes rapidly, we realize that it is not
possible to have the congress in Trondheim as plan-
ned. Postponing the event is likely not an option as
the pandemic is expected to go on for several months,
and having the congress close to the upcoming 38th
Nordic Congress in Iceland in 2022 would be unfortu-
nate. Whether a web-based event will be held depends
on technical and logistical issues currently being
explored, but making the planned congress virtual
is not straight forward.
Irrespective of the fate of The 37th Nordic Con-
gress, we apologize for the inconvenience this may
cause you and kindly ask for your understanding that
we are not able to give more information at this time.
