Klinisk Biokemi i Norden
dande skillnader mellan resultaten. Skillnaderna var
inte kliniskt godtagbara (± 2SD, –0.53 - +0.63).
Då man undersökte INR-värdena hos 137 patienter
och använde två olika Owren-reagenser var resultatet
kliniskt godtagbart (± 2SD from –0.11 - + 0.11) (17).
När man testade fyra olika ISI-kalibreringskit med
tre olika Quick- och Owren-reagenser var skillna-
den betydlig i Owren-reagensernas favör (Cv 2.4
%); Quick-reagensernas CV blev 12.9 %. När man
undersökte normalplasma blev CV för Quick 4.02
% och för Owren 2.54 %. Det absoluta felet för 2.5
INR är följande: Quick 0.16 INR och Owren 0.01
INR. Också mätningsnoggrannheten är bättre enligt
Owren-metoden på olika mätningsområden (18).
Mätningsosäkerheten blir klart större när INR växer.
Sammanfattningsvis kan man konstatera att Owrens
protrombintidmetod är klart bättre och tillförlitligare
än Quick-metoden. Ett världsomfattande ibrukta-
gande av Owren-metoden istället för Quick-metoden
skulle förbättra kvaliteten på INR-resultaten och lösa
många problem i INR-bruket.
