Disse sessioner på dansk, svensk og/eller norsk omhandler praktiske aspekter: hvad foretages på en dag til
dag basis. Indlæggene præsenteres af bioanalytikere og/eller andre personer med stor praktisk (og teoretisk)
indsigt i emnet.
Company sessions
from the main sponsors Applied Biosystems, Roche, DPC, Dade Behring and Bayer are
in the process of being organised.
Poster sessions
will be organised based on submitted abstracts accepted for the meeting. Chair-persons will
moderate these poster sessions.
We are looking foreward to your contribution for our next Nordic Congress, and hope to see you in
Copenhagen in June 2006.

The Nordic coagulation meeting
is an annual event in the Nordic
region that currently gathers 2-
300 participants. With the 2006
meeting in Malmö the event has
returned to the Øresund region
where it all started in 1967.
As hosts and organisers, we are
responsible for the planning of
the scientific and social agendas that we hope you
will find interesting. Please visit our website at
www.nordcoag2006.com
for the latest information
about the meeting and for your registration.
The scientific programme unites information from
both basic and clinical research in several areas of
thrombosis and haemostasis. As both thrombophilic
and haemophilic patients are diagnosed and trea-
ted in our unit, we have chosen to share the time
equally between the two faces of coagulation. We
are delighted to announce that outstanding speakers
from several countries have accepted to enlighten
us with exciting presentations. Furthermore, some
companies arrange interesting satellite symposia
in direct connection to the scientific programme.
Scientific posters will also be on display during the
meeting and everyone is encouraged to participate
by submitting abstracts to the meeting.
It is important to remember that the companies
that participate in the trade exhibition and organise
satellite symposia make the meeting possible. Please
do not forget to meet their representatives at the
exhibition.
We hope you will find Malmö at its best. In a
short time, the city has evolved from a typical
industrial town into a modern city with many
facets. Do not leave Malmö without the experience
of the dynamic contrasts between the older city
centre and the newly built districts at the seaside.
The weather conditions in the beginning of May
can be unpredictable but if we are lucky, we will
experience a spring season with sunny days and
tender greenness.
On behalf of the organisers I wish everyone with
an interest in the area of thrombosis and haemo-
stasis most welcome to Malmö in May 2006 for the
39
th
Nordic Coagulation Meeting.
Dear colleagues and friends
